Care · Recommend someone
Recommend someone you trust.
Know a wonderful nanny, babysitter or caregiver? Recommending them is the single most valuable thing you can do in Care — for them, and for another mom who is looking.
A recommendation asks for the person’s details, how you know them, and honest context: how long they worked with your family, the age of your child at the time, and whether you would hire them again.
Then the person is asked for consent. They can accept, decline or claim their profile, and they control what is public. Nothing about them appears without their agreement.
What you’ll add
The details that make a recommendation useful.
- Name, city and area, languages
- Experience: newborn, child ages, years
- Skills: overnight, travel, cooking, driving, first aid
- A short recommendation in your words
How you know them
Context that makes trust real.
- She worked / currently works with my family
- Recommended by a close friend
- I know her personally
- How long, and whether you would hire her again
Consent, always
The caregiver is asked before anything is shown. They can accept, decline, claim the profile, or stay private.
Questions
Where does this happen?
Inside the Mommy Refuel app, in the Care pilot. This page explains how it works; the recommendation flow lives in the app.
What if they don’t want a profile?
Then there is no profile. Consent comes first — a recommendation only becomes discoverable if the person agrees.
